Lucas County School Reporting
Due to the decrease in cases locally and nationally and the widespread availability vaccination and other therapeutics for COVID-19, the Ohio Department of Health, effective 12:01 pm on 3/10/22, rescinded the Director's Order Requiring Reporting and Notification Regarding COVID-19 Cases in Kindergarten through Twelfth Grade Schools. Schools are no longer required to report cases to local health departments unless they are conducting testing within their facilities.
Isolation protocols have not changed for individuals diagnosed with or testing positive for COVID-19. These individuals must be excluded from school/activities until they meet the criteria for discontinuation for isolation.
