SUMMARY:Bridges Out of Poverty Training
DESCRIPTION:This seminar gives staff and volunteers a common language\, understanding\, and tools to prevent and alleviate poverty. Participants increase awareness of how economic class impacts life experience\, resources\, and stability. Customer service and teamwork in business and community settings are improved. This seminar is based on the book Bridges Out of Poverty: Strategies for Professionals and Communities\, a collaboration between Ruby K. Payne\, Philip DeVol\, and Terie Dreussi Smith.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFacilitator: Stephen MacDonald – certified Bridges Out of Poverty trainer\n\n\nArrival/Check-In: 8:30 – 9:00 AM\n\n\nParking: Free and next to the building. The driveway is on Jefferson. Drive under the building overhang to get to the parking lot.\n\n\nRegistration Link: Click Here\n\n\nLunch: A box lunch is provided.
