DESCRIPTION:The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) and Ohio Board of Nursing (OBN) will co-host a doula stakeholder meeting on February 20\, 2024\, at 9:00 a.m. \nThis meeting will discuss the progress made regarding the doula certification process\, provide updates to the doula certification and enrollment timelines\, and discuss potential rates and visit options for doulas serving people with Medicaid coverage. We seek input from doulas\, entities employing doulas\, Medicaid members\, and community representatives where doulas may improve patient experiences and help reduce high maternal and infant mortality rates. Registration is available on the Maternal Infant Support Program (MISP) website. The ODM and OBN look forward to hearing from you.
