However\, senior drivers can be more susceptible to injury or death in a crash. A proper fit for drivers inside their vehicle can further enhance their safety. \nCarFit is an educational program that offers older adults the opportunity to check how well their personal vehicle fits them\, with the goal of increasing the safety of senior drivers and those around them. \nDuring this event\, trained technicians and health professionals will work with participants to ensure their vehicles provide maximum comfort and safety. DESCRIPTION:The Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) and Ohio Board of Nursing (OBN) will co-host a doula stakeholder meeting on February 20\, 2024\, at 9:00 a.m. \nThis meeting will discuss the progress made regarding the doula certification process\, provide updates to the doula certification and enrollment timelines\, and discuss potential rates and visit options for doulas serving people with Medicaid coverage. We seek input from doulas\, entities employing doulas\, Medicaid members\, and community representatives where doulas may improve patient experiences and help reduce high maternal and infant mortality rates.
