Getting a flu vaccine is more important than ever this year to protect yourself and the people around you from flu, and to help reduce the strain on healthcare systems responding to the COVID-19 pandemic. Seasonal flu activity typically occurs between October and May. The Toledo-Lucas County Health Department is offering appointment only flu shot clinics to the public, throughout the season, on the following dates:

Tuesday, September 22 (8:00 am-4:00 pm) at the Toledo Lucas County Health Department, 635 N. Erie St, Toledo, OH 43604

Thursday, September 24 (8:00am- 4:00pm) at the Toledo Lucas County Health Department, 635 N. Erie St, Toledo, OH 43604

Sunday, September 27 (8:00 am-1:00 pm) at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 5373 Main St, Sylvania, OH 43560

Tuesday, September 29 (8:00am-4:00pm) at the Toledo Lucas County Health Department, 635 N. Erie St, Toledo, OH 43604

Thursday, October 1 (8:00am-4:00pm) at the Toledo Lucas County Health Department, 635 N. Erie St, Toledo, OH 43604

All insurances may be billed, including Medicare Part B and Ohio Medicaid. If you do not have insurance, the cost for the seasonal flu vaccine is $21.25, payable by cash, check, or credit card.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that everyone six months of age and older, and able to be vaccinated, should receive the flu vaccine each year.
