The Toledo Lucas County Health Department is delighted to announce the newly elected Board of Health leadership team of Barb Sarantou, President, and Amr Elaskary, Vice President, as they step into their new roles.

Mrs. Sarantou and Mr. Elaskary bring a wealth of experience, dedication, and vision that will help guide our department in advancing public health initiatives and improving the well-being of our community. They are excited to collaborate with health department staff to continue the vital work of addressing and resolving public health challenges.

Additionally, the health department would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Johnathon Ross for his dedicated service as Board President in 2024. His leadership and commitment have been invaluable in guiding the department and advancing public health in our community. His contributions are sincerely appreciated.
